LISA O'KANE'S Career Is Running Like A Finely Tuned Swiss Watch - Artist Booked In Switzerland June/July

Nashville, TN (May 21, 2003) - Lisa O'Kane's career is running like a finely tuned Swiss watch. She is set to tour Switzerland in June and July, and will soon grace the cover of Country Music Switzerland. She is currently #1 on the European Top 30 Independent Country Chart with her fourth single, "Am I Too Blue." The record scored the highest total yet under the new point system, and had the highest number of DJs to date voting her into their Top 10. This sets a new record for the EMS Chart. "Am I Too Blue" is Lisa's third #1 record from her debut CD of the same name.

O'Kane's expressive soprano vocals and uniquely Roots/Folk-based material have seen her on the fast track since AM I TOO BLUE, the CD, was released in 2002. Critics and fans alike have cheered on the talented Californian, who has spent 11 consecutive months on the Euro charts and was named to numerous "Best Of 2002" charts. Lisa has performed at MIDEM 2003, recently toured Spain, and been featured on Dutch TV. Her career is gaining momentum, minute by minute.

Excited to be visiting the land of the Alps, O'Kane says, "This will be my first trip to Switzerland, and I have been practicing my French for months. Promoter Arthur Furrer has done an excellent job coordinating this tour. My guitarist and writing partner Mark Fosson and I have just finished several new songs. We'll be trying them out live for the very first time on this tour, along with many of the songs from AM I TOO BLUE. This will be a busy trip, and I'll be doing some radio station visits as well, but we have set aside some time to enjoy skiing and sightseeing. It should be great fun."
